Refuge Story

The refuge is originally a chalet of high mountain pasture builds in 1892 in the said place Tournieux.

In this time, the farmers joined the meadows of mountain with their herds in search of a quality grass. In 1984 the creation of a ski resort is going to upset everything and Patrick ROUBERT decides to transform this farm by restoring of height.

From the season 85-86 the chalet is operational but after three winters weakly covered with snow the ski resort closes. Too bad, the altitude restaurant becomes refuge and welcomes the walkers.
